HI, I have been having a problem for quite some time. My Realtek wireless driver vanished from my network devices and I cannot install it. I have tried multiple times installing it and I can't. I also reset my network installation, tried CMD and everything else I could find online. Is there a way to fix this?

My device is a HP Probook G9 445

This is your system unless i am mistaken

https://support.hp.com/lv-en/drivers/hp-probook-445-14-inch-g9-notebook-pc/2100971150

The Realtek driver is just one of 3 possible Wi-Fi drivers.  Intel and Qualcomm are the other two.

If you are sure you have Realtek then the driver of July 2024 is here

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp153501-154000/sp153775.exe

the parts list for your system can be found by entering your serial number at the below site

give this a try it worked for me too Realtek-RTL8821CE-and-RTL8822CE-Wi-Fi-and-Bluetooth_WKGTJ_WIN_2024.10.142.0_A07.EXE , you need to manually extract and install driver using device manager

I've already tried installing all of the 3 possible drivers. The problem is not finding the right driver it is installing it. It won't install on my computer which is pretty frustrating. I don't know what to do.

It (sadly) didn't work. It extracted the file but still wouldn't install.

I do not know why the HP realtek derivers for the 445 G9 did not work

It is always possible to do a client factory restore

but that will erase all documents.

Try this first

Connect ethernet cable from the RJ45 on your laptop to the modem / router

uninstall the wi-fi card: Realtek or whatever.  Do not uninstall the intel or ethernet device using the cable.

Reboot the laptop

If that does not work then locate the wifi on the device manager and post the VEN and DEV codes

for example

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2725&SUBSYS_00248086&REV_1A\4&1B0777D2&0&00E8

That comes from the Device Instance path of your WiFI device details

the driver can usually (but not always) be found by looking those values up at the below site

https://devicehunt.com/view/type/pci/vendor/10EC/device/D723
