Has anyone ever actually put the bluetooth module into a HP ProBook 6570b notebook? Everything I've seen is about software under the assumption that the Bluetooth module is already there. My notebook came without Bluetooth so I want to install the module to give me Bluetooth capability. I've seen a module for it with a cable attached but I don't see where either the module or cable connects to the motherboard. Can anybody tell me about the hardware installation side?

Manual says

"The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The Bluetooth module cable is included in the Cable Kits, spare part numbers 686308-001 (for use only on HP EliteBook 8570p Notebook PC computer models) and 686307-001 (for use only on HP ProBook 6570b Notebook PC computer models)."

That mean you need more parts to be able to install . Your machine is around 12 years old and  it does NOT have option to have a wifi+bluetooth adapter (2-in-1).  The simplest option is to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter such as

There are many around and cheaper too.
