The WiFi adapter loses connectivity on frequent basis, seems to cycle every 45 second to 1 minute, completely loses WiFi connection.
I finally disabled the hardware in Computer Management and used the Ethernet jack which has not failed (yet) but the loose cable is a problem, I need the WiFi back.
I am using a USB WiFi adapter but the response is less than desirable.
Can the Realtek RTIL88ccCE 802.11ac PCIe Adaptor be easily replaced with comparable model or better?

SO the manual (PDF) from HP is not exactly accurate for my specific model of the Pavilion 27-All-In-One. But I will post a "modified" diagram of where the Wifi card and internal antennas are located. First there are 3 separate pipes (for cooling) and the antennas are wired below the components but are visible as the red lines.
And it was fairly easy to install, however reattaching the antennas proved to be too much for me (had to have professional assistance here). Also, the diagrams imply it "hinged" from the top but due to the screen power and touch screen cables, it really needs to hinge from the bottom.
There are three screws to remove before you can hinge the screen out of the way. Hope this helps.

The Wi-Fi adapter might be able upgraded, but I wouldn't say it is an easy task.
I would need to know the correct model of the Wi-Fi adapter your PC has installed.
It is ether the RTL8822CE or the RTL8821CE. There is no such model card as what you posted.
Those PC's are very difficult to take apart.
This is the only manual available and it does not cover replacing the Wi-Fi adapter.
Upgrading and Servicing Guide (EMEA with shipping label) (hp.com)
Have you installed the latest version of the Wi-Fi driver HP has for the RTL8xxxCE Wi-Fi adapter?
Try this first and if it doesn't fix the problem, let me know exactly which model Realtek Wi-Fi adapter your PC has.

So it is the RLT8822CE, sorry didn't have on my readers when I typed it.
Tried the driver, so it's not dropping but the performance is erratic...and not what I expect.
My wife's PC is 12 feet away and she regularly pulls 500-600/500-800 on her's.
I've ordered a PCIe wireless card off Amazon, and antenna wires just to check the box.
I have some experience in PC building/upgrades, the All-in-One may be a bit challenging but at this point the performance is not enough.

You'd have to post the link to the card you ordered.
It has to be a M.2 form factor.
I was going to recommend this card to you if you wanted to replace the Wi-Fi adapter:
