Hi

Can I change the intel 9461NWG card in my HP14 cf1502sa laptop and replace it with a Wifi 7 Wireless intel BE200NGW card?

You're very welcome.

Yes, absolutely you can go that route.

It appears that model Wi-Fi adapter even has Bluetooth.

The downside of course is it protrudes from the notebook, but if you mainly use it at a desk, it would be an excellent option.

Hi:

Unfortunately, that would not be possible since your notebook only comes with one antenna wire and the Intel BE200 wifi card would require two antenna wires in order to work properly.

The card is probably too new to be supported in your notebook anyway.

You might be able to get by with an Intel AX200 non-vPro Wi-Fi 6 or AX210 non-vPro Wi-Fi 6E, but those will also require two antenna wires as well.

So is the card currently in the most up to date one so there would be no point in trying to upgrade it?

HP Recommended

Yes, that would have been the best 1 x 1 AC card option.

The other option would be the RTL8821CE AC and then a single band RTL8723DE.

Unless you order the dual antenna kit listed in chapter 3 of the service manual and take virtually the whole notebook apart including the display panel to properly install the dual antenna kit, you are at the top of the mark.
