g7 1310us
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Installed a new motherboard and now when boot it says (wireless ID 702: wireless module not supported  go to www.hp.com/go/techcenter /startup)  When I remove the network card it will reboot to windows 10 64 bit. replacing the card after a boot and the same error comes up again upon rebooting attempt.

I tested my card in my dads HP laptop (elitebook 8470P) and it works like a charm. So I know the card works. I then tried his card in mine and same error. So both cards work in my fathers computer but neither work in mine. What could the problem be? how to fix this?

@mdscafetta

Error 702 means the wifi card is NOT supported in BIOS. Please update BIOS from the following link

       https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-g7-1300-Notebook-PC-series/5186814/mode...

Hope this helps. Otherwise you can't use that card due to whitelist

Regards.
