My wireless card adapter went out on my HP LAPTOP G7 and I replaced it with RT5390 (part #670691-001) and it will connect to my router. The light is white on the F12 key, but it will not connect. Can someone help me figure this out. I was trying to maybe download the driver for this but can not find it on the HP help support screen. Any help fixing this problem or can you replace this with a universal wireless adapter. This is driving me crazy because the wireless card it new, but will not connect. May the wireless card it bad, i do not know. Please help. Thank you.

Hi:
That card doesn't work with the newer builds of W10.
Here is the W10 driver for it, but I doubt it will solve the problem.
5.0.57.0

What I recommend you do is to take a chance on this dual band wifi card with bluetooth...
Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2×2 Wi-Fi Adapter, Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter HP part # 730668-001.
You should be able to find this card on eBay. Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
