HP ProBook 450 G0 Notebook PC

Hi, I would like to replace the wifi and bluetooth card in my laptop. Can you please help me with choosing a new card?
Unfortunately with the old card my bluetooth doesn't work, but I've read that this is a problem with higher versions of windows.
My new requirements from the new adapter would be:
- working bluetooth (headphone connection)
- wifi with a 5 GHz signal
- I would appreciate speeds up to 1000Mbps

My laptop:
Hewlett-Packard HP ProBook 450 G0

Os: Microsoft Windows 11 Professional (x64) Build 22621.1344

Procesor: Intel Core i5-3230M

Ram: 8 GB

Network card: Ralink RT3290 802.11n Wireless Network Adapter

Audios adapter: Intel Panther Point PCH - High Definition Audio Controller [C1]

Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard 1949

Chipset: Intel HM76 (Panther Point)

Graphic: Intel Ivy Bridge-MB GT2 - Integrated Graphics [E1/L1/N0/P0] [Hewlett-Packard]
 + AMD Radeon HD 8750M (Mars-XT) [Hewlett-Packard]

Disk: CT250MX500SSD1

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

c03765776.pdf (hp.com)

Chapter 3 has the list of supported Wi-Fi adapters.

I recommend that you go with the Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2x2 Wi-Fi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter (Intel models only)    HP part # 731550-001.

The Intel card won't have W10 drivers, let alone W11 drivers.

I have run an old Dell notebook on W11 with the above HP card and it works fine with the W10 drivers installed.

I believe that your notebook may have a BIOS whitelist, which prevents any Wi-Fi card not listed in the service manual from working, so make sure you buy the Broadcom card with that exact HP part number, or it may not work.

You should be able to find one on eBay.

These are the latest W10 Wi-Fi and BT drivers HP has for the Broadcom card:

Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver (Windows 10)
