Hi everyones,
I have an HP Gaming Pavilion 15-cx0997nl, seriously problem with WiFi in my work place, no problem at Home.
Found on internet that the Realtek WiFi card has a problems with Access Point in a multi access point location...so, I've continuos packet loss.
I've last bios, latest drivers...no solving this problem.
So, I think to replace Realtek-8822BE-RTL8822BE WiFi card with an Intel Wireless AC 9260, Bluetooth 5.0 WLAN m.2 2230
I ask here: It's compatible? Can I replace that card with this one?

Hi:
Your notebook's support page does not have the latest driver for that model card.
You can try this one if you have not done so already.

Regarding your question...no one here can tell you with 100% certainty the card will work, but it should.
However, you must get the card that is non-Vpro.
One word of caution...the antenna cables are very delicate, so be very careful when removing and replacing them onto the wifi card.

Thank you very much, I'll try the software versions indicated by you.
In any case, from the HP Official Service Manual, Intel AC 9560 was supported, but form factor of 9560 seems not like Realtek one.
INTEL 95xx
Realetk one
So, HP indicates compatible models in a page somewhere? But "real" supported models?

You're very welcome.
The 9560 is a companion RF (CRF) card, and I don't think it will work unless your notebook had originally come with one of those, and it needed to be replaced.
It is not a complete in one package wifi card that we are familiar with, such as the Realtek 8822 or the Intel 9260.
The short explanation of this is...a CRF card needs other components such as the processor, in order to function.
I can't find any posts regarding the installation of this card in any HP notebook with the 8th gen core processors, but I know it will not work in older generation notebooks, and I think one person did install one in his 8th gen core notebook and it didn't work.

Thank you very much for the clear explanation.
Your link drivers installed, same problems. Reboot, same problems.
At this point, I'll search for 9260 available in my country Non Vpro, and give a try...
When it arrived and I mounted it, I update this post to let you know (maybe it can be useful to someone else)
