Hello. The laptop has a wifi module from Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac. The laptop does not see the 5g wifi network until you switch the router from channel 36-48. What other wifi module can I change to and is there a list of supported wifi modules. Thank you

Hi:

There aren't any supported Wi-Fi adapters that would be better than the one you have now (which is no good on its best day).

The Intel 9560 AC card listed in the service manual is a CNVI card and will only work as a replacement card in the notebooks that originally came with that model card.

See if updating the RTL Wi-Fi driver helps any.

Either of these two Wi-Fi adapters should work in your notebook:

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # M27269-005

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro    HP part #L35282-005

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure:
