Product - HP Pavilion g6-1a50ca Notebook
Issue: May be a coincidence or maybe just a hardware issue ?
Problem: Intel Centrino N-1000 wifi adapter stopped working after Windows 10 update to 22h2.
Is there a replacement wifi adapter that I can use in my legacy HP Pavilion g6-1a50ca Notebook that will work with Windows 10 ?

Hi:
Unfortunately, there isn't.
Your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which prevents the installation of any other model Wi-Fi adapter other than the one that came with your notebook.
You may have to use a USB dual band Wi-Fi adapter.
I use this one which works on W10, is small, dual band and even has Bluetooth.
Your only other option might be to try the latest W10 Wi-Fi driver the Microsoft Update Catalog has for the Intel Centrino 1000 (version:15.11.0.7) if it is newer than the driver Windows has currently installed.
