Do you have a WWAN card installed???

 

A SIM card will not work if you do not have one installed.

 

Also what version of Windows are you running.

No, I don't have a WWAN car my version of my Windows running is windows 7 ultimate.

To use a SIM card you need to have a WWAN card installed.

 

This is where your SIM slot should be located.

You could have one of these two.

But if you do not have the WWAN card installed it will not work.

Look in Device Manager under Network Adapters.

 

What is the model of your WWAN card???

 

It will be a Qualcomm or Ericsson card.
