Product: HP EliteBook 840 G6 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Since purchase of ,HP EliteBook 840 G6 Notebook PC with serial number [Private information removed], we are not able to activate or use the sim slot.

Asked more than ten times with HP support, but no luck.

So please help out

WWAN is an option. Did you buy WWAN option for your machine ? Without WWAN, SIM card is useless.

 

Please check Device Manager, Network Adapters to see does your machine has one of the following options

 

Supports the following WWAN formats:
Integrated WWAN options with dual antennas (M.2 30 × 42 socket USB2):

● Intel XMM™ 7262 LTE-Advanced (CAT 6)
Integrated WWAN options with dual antennas (M.2 30 × 42 socket PCIe):

● Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced (CAT 9)

● Intel XMM 7560 LTE-Advanced Pro (CAT 16)
