Also when I can’t seem to be able to use my SIM card in my laptop. There’s no option for it at all.

Your notebook does not have the optional WWAN adapter that connects to a cellular network.


All the SIM card does is authorize you to use your cell phone provider's network.

The solution is to install one of the supported WWAN adapters that are listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual.
