Heya community!
i am aware of many different methods of whitelist removal from modifying the bios to the swap method.
but I am wondering if anyone has had any luck with swapping out the wwan/gps m.2 module with the current bios.
i got the same model as the hp one but it’s the not official replacement so it’s not assigned under the whitelist and I’m not paying the crazy amount for the card.
does anyone know of a bios setting, modded bios or any methods of unlocking the bios.
Module: Huawei ME906S-158
I am looking into doing the modification myself but I though I may ask first, also if anyone can point me to the and bios chip in the motherboard that would be fantastic as it will save me working it out so incase I brick the bios so I can flash it with a bios backup with my flash tools.
thanks guys~

I found a semi solution to my issue.
I did not find a way to remove my white list, But I found a way to flash the Huawei ME906S-158 without HP signatures.
I found the following link which shows how to remove the HP signature from the Huawei HP It4132 (ME906S-158), But I did it to add the HP signatures.
Unbranding a Huawei ME906s WWAN/4G module
What I did was move both XML's from the Other firmware installer file to the HP firmware installer.
One thing I did find was at the end of the installation it has an error ( I don't remember the error but it says something about communication before it has the error)
The test doesn't get stuck it just takes a while for it to come up so let it sit, once the error came up I pressed okay and reset the pc.
Now the bios thinks it is a HP ME906S and boots without any swap method 🙂
Also to note I know it worked for me but I dont know if it will cause the WWAN to brick, so do this at your own risk.
