It randomly started about 2 weeks ago with a bit of a hiccup here and there. Didn't think much of it seeing that it appeared to resolve itself without any intervention on my part. Now it's become absolutely impossible to do anything online! I'm connected via an ethernet cable directly to my modem/router. I'm 99.5% certain the issue isn't with the cable. I'll boot up my laptop and everything is fine. I'll try to load a webpage and things slow down. Sometimes the page will load after a few seconds, sometimes I have to try refreshing another tab or opening a new one before the original tab refreshes. But sometimes, I just have to close the tab and try opening a new one.
I also have Nord VPN installed and I honestly believe that this is the original source of the problem. My connection would randomly time-out without warning and would also not reconnect. I'd wake up in the morning with no connection. Just a few hours ago I downloaded and installed Vypr VPN which came with a service I just purchased and after connecting to it my connection sputtered like with Nord and eventually completely disconnected. I shut down Vypr and was still having issues! Restarting seems to be the only work-around I've come up with. As for my internet connection itself, I have Cox's highest connection speed. Their 2 Gig connection. I've had no issues with any other devices getting and staying online and in fact! I actually even got a new modem/router from Cox and the issue hasn't changed at all!!!! Oddly enough this issue persists whether I'm connected via ethernet or wifi.
In my attempts to fix this I have reset my network settings several times. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Nord several times. I've tried searching Google in every which way I can think of but I keep getting basically the same search results. I dunno what else to do!!!!!!! Can anyone please help me fix this???????????

I tried the suggestion in your link. Particularly the part in command prompt. Now my wifi and etherent are extremely slow. Before the fix. My wifi was perfect! I have a 2 Gig internet connection and now I'm maybe getting 10 Mbps. I ran another scan the other day and it found an issue but it didn't say how to fix it.
