Hello! I've decided to fix up my old Sleekbook 15-b119wm and because of that I'm looking to upgrade its Wifi Card, currently being a Ralink RT3290, that is known to have issues with Windows 10 (it was one of the reasons I stopped using the laptop, but miraculously, when I cleaned it up and checked its parts along with updating some drivers, it started working. It might not last, it's not fast and I'm certainly missing the 5Ghz though). I've seen other posts suggesting an Intel WiFi card, the AC-7260 specifically, but I have a couple of worries:
1. Its CPU is an AMD A8-4555M, so I really don't know if it'll be compatible or not, since it's somewhat old
2. I know old HP models had a whitelist for wifi cards, so I'd like to know if someone could shed some light as to if this one has it or not (for reference, I bought the laptop around 2013 I believe?)
So, I would really appreciate if someone could pin point me to a compatible wifi card! (If not feasible, I'm also open for usb wifi adapter recommendations)

Hi:
I'm pretty sure that your notebook does not have a BIOS whitelist, but it won't support an Intel Wi-Fi card since it has an AMD processor and chipset.
Back in those days, Intel cards only worked in Intel platforms.
Here are two dual band Wi-Fi cards that should be supported in your notebook:
Dual band AC: Max throughput of 867MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router.
Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo HP part # 724935-001
Dual band N: Max throughput of 300 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with a N or AC router.
Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 HP part # 730668-001
You should be able to find either card on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi card.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.
