I bought this laptop few weeks ago, it is the new gen cut design. From day one I'm having Wi-Fi issues, firstly it only detected the 5Mhz signal from my Asus RT N66Urouter, secondly it keep getting disconnected, and more recently it fails to detect any Wi-Fi signal. I updated the Wi-Fi driver from Intel website (Intel wireless AC9560), I updated all the drivers and even BIOS from HP website but the situation didn’t improve. Lastly I did a factory reset and reinstalled windows but the problem still persists. The most recent behavior is that it rarely detects any Wi-Fi signal, if it does it struggles to connect and if successful it disconnects after a short while with a red cross on the Wi-Fi icon. I tried it at friend’s house; hot spots etc. without any success. I also searched the web for a solution but to date have found nothing that applies to my situation. Having tried everything that I know of, I believe there is an internal conflict. As I understand the Wi-Fi card shares functionality with CPU in this new generation of whisky late and Intel AC 9560 Wi-Fi card. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

An Update
Experimenting with various setting I found out that if I disable Bluetooth Wi-Fi identifies all the Wi-Fi connections available in the neighborhood and will let me connect to my home Wi-Fi with no dropping of signal strength or disconnection reconnection issues. I read on the net that there may be interference as Bluetooth uses same 2.4Ghz frequency as most Wi-Fi. However I struggle to understand this as my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pros S has always worked flawlessly at 2.4Ghz with Bluetooth speaker attached while streaming music from Spotify. I also noticed that if I update the driver from Intel website this setup doesn’t work anymore so I had to revert back to drivers on HP website. I will continue to experiment but in the meantime if anyone wants to make any suggestion then they are most welcome

Hi Raj
Thank you for your reply
I tried all the solutions you suggested but tge problem is still there. I updated windows and Bios but still no go. The latest wifi driver on Intel website dosent work, i can only use the older drivers to make wifi work after turning the Bluetooth off.
I'm sure it is some sort of software conflict as from day one I struggled with wifi. I even did a factory reset and the problem is still there.
Please let me know of anyother possible solution you know off.
Thank you

My lord I am going insane trying to fix the connectivity issues with this laptop. I am having the same exact problem you had and it is making me nuts, I tried all the fixes mentioned and zilch. Even did a factory reset, bios update, more updates, driver uninstall and update. My sisters have different latops and are not having this problem, like at all so yeah. I am stressed.
On top of that the fact that it would say "no networks found" was so freaking annoying because my siblings have all of them show up, our neighbors and everything, there are like 10 plus networks near my location,
I want to say thank you because turning off the bluetooth resolved that rightaway and gave me relief but my other issues still verry much remain.
It keeps dropping the connection then there is the red cross icon. Troubkeshooter says that the problem was that I was set to connect straight ton my wifi or the access point to my adapter was broken which is bull since all the other electrovics in my house work FINE.
Anyhow I am almost at the end of my wits and believe its this cruddly laptop which i loved so much and am looking into buying another one from a different company if this problem persists.
Sorry for the rant and thank you.
