hello everyone,
I am facing an issue with my HP EliteBook 830 G5 after the latest update. After using the device normally the day before following the update, today when I tried to turn it on, it doesn’t work properly. When I press the power button, the light near the charging port lights up and blinks 9 times in white (with the blinking happening every 3 seconds), then it turns off. The battery is internal and no other signs appear on the device.
I have tried several solutions, including:
1. Removing the battery and disconnecting the charger, then pressing the power button to discharge the capacitors.
2. Reinstalling just the battery and powering on the device, but the issue persists.
I believe the problem might be related to a system or BIOS update, as I experienced the same issue with another device I previously owned after a similar update.
Has anyone faced this issue or knows how to resolve it? I need help to determine whether the issue is due to the recent update or if it’s related to another component inside the device.
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions!
