Product: Probook 430 G8
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I want to purchase the hp probook G8, and it does not have ethernet port, if i got the hp usb type-c to ethernet converter, can i connect it to a router or a switch and access them normally, or change laptop ip addressing over this connection normally?

Machine should have
- (1) USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port (Power delivery, DisplayPort 1.2)
- (2) USB 3.1 Gen 1 port (1 charging; 1 powered port)
- (1) HDMI 1.4b (cable sold separately)
- (1) Headphone/microphone combo jack
- (1) AC power input port
USB-C to NIC adapters should work but I have not test them. I know for sure you can use USB to NIC. I'm using the following adapter
I've got 2 more USB 3.0 ports. You can use 3, 4, 5 or 7 ports if you wish
