Hi:

Did you install the Intel chipset and W7 USB driver you need for that platform?

If not, here they are...

This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility. This utility enables the operating system to show the correct name for the installed Intel hardware in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager. This package is provided for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75561.exe

This package contains the Intel USB 3.0 Driver for Intel 8 and U/Y Series Products for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

Hello, I'm bothering you again .... You helped me with "usb is dead" recently. Now USB 2.0 is down again and also the touchpad and both without any changes like settings etc etc. They just left off for no reason what I know.

The USB 3.0 works great but do you have any idea what the problem is with The Touch (think the driver comes from Synaptics, tested reinstall it without success).
The PC model is HP 15-r067no
Thank you very much for your time

Best regards

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what to do about that.

The touchpad driver from your notebook's support page should have worked, and there are no USB 2 drivers available.

The Intel chipset driver installs the USB 2 drivers if needed, or they are already included in the W7 driver database.

Did you try both versions of the touchpad driver on the support page?  Maybe one will work better than the other.
