Dear HP Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with my HP Laptop 14s-fq1xxx while trying to connect to a 5GHz WiFi network. Previously, my laptop was able to connect without any issues, but now it does not detect or connect to 5GHz networks. I have already tried updating the drivers, resetting network settings, and checking my router configuration, but the issue persists.

I suspect that this might be a driver-related problem. Kindly assist me in resolving this issue. Below are my laptop details:

  • Product Name: HP Laptop 14s-fq1xxx
  • Software Build Number: 21WW2HLT604#SACI#DACJ
  • Operating System: Windows 11

Hi:

 

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with the RTL8821CE Wi-Fi adapter.

 

Since you didn't list what driver version you updated to (the drivers on your notebook's support page are not the latest ones), the only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers to the latest versions HP currently has available:

 

Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN Drivers 

 

Version 2024.10.230.1
