Hello,
I am currently running Fedora 40 on my HP Pavilion Laptop 14-ec1003nc (Product Number: 73U74EA). The laptop came with a Realtek RTL8852AE Wi-Fi adapter, which has been causing stability issues. To resolve this, I decided to replace it with a more Linux-supported adapter, the Intel AX210.
However, after installing the Intel AX210, the new adapter is not recognized or functioning correctly. After seeking advice on the Fedora forums, I discovered that the PXE (Preboot Execution Environment) setting might be causing the issue. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the advanced BIOS settings to disable PXE.
Is there a way to access these advanced BIOS settings on my laptop, or an alternative solution to ensure the new Wi-Fi adapter works properly?
Thank you for your assistance!

Hi:
Very, very few HP notebooks with AMD processors support the Intel AX210.
There's no way to get it to work.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to buy this model card, which HP uses in many of their notebooks that have AMD Ryzen processors:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005.
I have a HP 15-ee0047nr notebook with a Ryzen 5 4500U processor and that is the same card HP installed in mine.
Only Realtek Wi-Fi cards were offered in the 14-ec1xxx model series.
