HP Pavilion All-in-One - 27-r080d

My HP Pavilion All-in-One - 27-r080d unable to detect 5ghz wifi in my house and only able to detect 2.4ghz wifi but my other mobile device all is able to detect the 5ghz wifi . Can someone from tech support assist me?

Well the specs say you have a dual band wireless card installed. However, can you go to device manager and open up network adapters and see what is listed there?

The wireless adapter is of the 802.11ac type and is able to handle 2.4 or 5 ghz communication. You may just have 5gz disabled in the wireless properties. Check this article for some tips and if nothing mentioned here works post back:

I checked and the 5ghz and 2.4 ghz are all enabled. Network card HW Problem ?

Possible but usually if the hardware is bad the card does not work at all. There are better wireless adapter options you could try.
