Even WLAN is not showing in Network Settings. Only LAN is visible.

I understand that you are unable to find the wireless adapter.
What is the product number of your computer? (Ensure you don't share any personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc..).
I have a few steps that will resolve your concern,
Do a hard reset of the notebook to see if that gets the card to show up.
Click here for instructions.
Reinstall the drivers from the HP website.
If the issue persists, recover the original drivers from HP/Recovery manager.
Initiate a system restore followed by a Recovery to resolve the issue.
