On connecting lan cable, it states it as unidentified network.
This is what I got on typing the command ipconfig/all. I have tried reinstalling the drivers from recvoery manager too, but to no result. It worked smoothly till now

Home networks typically use some form of 192.168.x.x
For example:
192.168.1.14
Found in your example:
192.16.137.1
Also found:
Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.218.171
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I suspect the setup with your home network router is misconfigured and the network cannot find a viable (useful) DNS address to use for the purpose of connecting to your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
