UPDATE: I finally found a link to the adapter manufacturer's driver download page -- got the driver and it works fine now.
Hello -- I recently switched home ISPs and got a Wi-Fi 6 router -- I purchased a USB 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 adapter for my HP 15z and it installed easily and worked fine for about a month, when it started dropping my connection -- I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it and now have these three issues:
(1) it installs it as an "other device" instead of as a "network adapter"
(2) it installs it as an 802.11ac WLAN adapter instead of as an 802.11ax
(3) it says driver not available and so it doesn't work anyway
I've tried a network reset and installing various driver packages without success.
Please advise if you have any ideas -- Thanks!
