I bought my laptop a week ago to use primarily at work in an automotive dealership. I need to connect a VCI device between the laptop and the vehicle to communicate with the vehicle. The VCI device is made by Bosch but has an ETAS driver that should be installed on the laptop with the software downloaded from Bosch. When I plug the VCI into other laptops a ETAS RNDIS USB device shows up under the Networking Adapters in device manager. On my laptop, nothing happens. I have contacted the vehicle manufacturer support, Bosch support, and HP support (which was the least helpful of them all) with no resolution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
