HP Pavilion 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-ec2000 (2P6B3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I got an HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop back in December. While everything seemed fine at first, I soon noticed that something was wrong whenever I used Discord or Zoom. There is always a repetitive lag when I try to do something live, either when chatting, watching, or streaming a video. I've also started getting "your network connection is unstable" messages while using Zoom, and have had both programs crash on me. Every now and then my connection will also randomly drop, but comes back when I restart my computer. I have tried running every diagnostic and fix that I can think of, but nothing has worked, which led me to assume that the problem is my wireless adapter. However, my computer can't detect anything wrong with it.

There are only two months left of my warranty, so I finally got around to calling HP today to discuss this. The agent who helped me believes that my wireless adapter is fine, since I don't have issues connecting to my WiFi, and that the fault probably lies with my ISP. I honestly have my doubts, since I don't have the same connectivity issues when using my phone, and no one else in my house has these problems with their HPs.

I was hoping to determine the cause and finally get it fixed before my warranty expired, but now I'm not sure if I can. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

I installed the drivers and have been testing my connection on Discord. Things seem a bit smoother, but I  unfortunately still have some connectivity issues.
