Tenho um notebook HP 240 G6 e gostaria de fazer a atualização da placa de rede para ter conexão 5G no wi-fi, pois o notebook somente tem acesso a conexão 2.4g. Poderiam informar as referências da placa de rede para acesso a conexão 5G no notebook HP 240 G6?

You should be able to install this model Wi-Fi adapter which works with one antenna wire:

 

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

I didn't quite understand, the solution would be to update the driver or buy a new card with the specifications given in the previous message.

Hi:

 

From what I understood you wrote is that you wanted to upgrade your notebook's Wi-Fi adapter to one that was dual band.

 

That would require you to purchase the card I recommended and remove and replace the single band card your notebook has now.

 

No driver update will ever turn a 2.4 GHz card into a 2.4 GHz/5.0 GHz Wi-Fi card.
