Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

i have the Envy dv7-7247cl model and would like to get a recommendation on a replacement for my wifi adapter.  Currently it has RALINK RT5390 2.4 only card.  What I'd like to know is if I can upgrade it to a dual band adapter and if so what would be compatible?

Thanks for any help.

Hi:

You can replace the Ralink wifi card with this model...

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0              HP Part # 710661-001

The card is readily available on eBay or Amazon.

Search by the HP part number, not by the model number of the wireless card.

Thanks so much Paul.  Just installed the new card and it works perfect.
