I have a Notebook 17-p180.no (Energy Star) with wireless card: Realtek RTL8723BE - 802.11 bgn, which I want to upgrade to a dual band that can receive/use the 5 G that my net-provider offers.
(I don`t know the year of my laptop - as I see the assistent/helper here asks for, and don`t know anything about the number of antenna/antennas - or about computers 🙂 ) Serial# is [edited] if that can help get answer. (I am sorry for my english!)
Best regards
Ingjerd

Your machine was built around 2015/2016 therefore I believe no whitelist in BIOS but it only has one antenna. You can use the following card

It doesn`t seem like I can buy this from AliExpress. I have registered the shipping adress, validated my mail-adress, but every time I press "buy now" I get the message "Please provide the missing information first". I don`t know what information they want or where to put it. I therefore have to buy the wireless cards from somewhere else. Would the card have another name from another provider? And could you please tell me where I can get it?

Hi Mr Banhien,
I have ordered the wireless cards from AliExpress, (which gave me some headache before I got what they asked me to do). They had an option with card and antenna, I chose without antenna and hope that was right?
(It will take up to a month before I get the card, so I don`t know now if it will get me 5G.)
Thank you for your help!
Regards Ingjerd
