I have an HP Pavilion 15-n220sq that have a Ralink RT3290LE 802.11 bgn 1×1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 combo adapter that is working only on 2,4GHz. I want to uupgrade it to dual band - 2,4GHz and 5 Ghz. I didn't find any wifi adapter that it is compatible with this specific laptop. Please help me with a dual band adapter, combo if it is posiible.
Thank you,
Cristian

Hi, Cristian:
The product specs for your model indicate that it comes with an AMD processor and chipset.

If your notebook has two antenna cables connected to the Ralink wifi adapter in there now, you can upgrade to this dual band AC wifi adapter.

The card is readily available on Amazon or eBay.
Do your search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi adapter.

I have success with Intel 7260.HMWG.R Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260.
However HP did not install Bluetooth driver for me. I have to install Intel Driver & Support Assistant to install Bluetooth driver as well as update to latest Wifi driver. This Wifi card is available on Amazon and eBay.
