HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0323ng

I'm experiencing lags of 4-8 seconds regularly with the wifi card that came with my laptop. The card is a Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter that I want to swap for something better. What wifi/bluetooth combination cards are compatible with my laptop? Which of them are likely to perform well?

Additional question: I've seen online that there are specifications of the card slot (M.2). What type of wifi/bluetooth card slot does my laptop have?

Hi:

You should be able to install either one of these cards:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro    HP part #L35282-005.

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # M27269-005.

They are both M.2 form factor cards such as the RTL8822BE card currently installed in your notebook.

Thank you!

I've been on the phone with HP Support just now, and I believe in the last step we've already tried installing the latest driver (after I've tried earlier to downgrade my driver). Hasn't worked so far, even though it should definitely be a driver problem, since when I'm using Linux on the same device there don't seem to be any problems.

The person from support also confirmed the first two of the cards you listed is compatible (haven't asked for the second).

Thanks a lot!

You're very welcome.

I have the first model card I posted, and it works great.

I don't have a Wi-Fi 6e router, or any Wi-Fi 6e devices, so the Intel AX200 is fine for my needs.
