Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

This isn't exactly a post to get support, more so a post to be shared to those that may encounter issues when upgrading their HP laptop's WiFi card, while this method may not work for everyone, it worked for me on my HP Victus 15-fb0102la (which has a Ryzen 5 5600H and a GTX 1650).

So, as the title states, I managed to get the Intel AX210 WiFI 6E card to work on my HP Victus 15, before this card, the laptop came with a Realtek RTL8822CE, a WiFi 5 card that had horrible performance (and would often drop out if under high usage).

Today the new card arrived and once I got it installed, I put the laptop's cover back on and booted it up, only to see that the card wasn't getting detected, after a bit of troubleshooting and googling, I found that people didn't have much luck when upgrading the WiFi card on their HP laptops, but one person in particular had an HP Envy laptop with a Ryzen 5 4500U and an Intel AX200 WiFi card, knowing this and how the laptop's BIOS doesn't have a WiFi card whitelist, I thought I'd reset the laptop's CMOS/BIOS using the WINKEY+V key combination at power-on.

This got the laptop to trigger a CMOS/BIOS reset and in the next boot, the WiFi card was getting detected just fine, so to summarize, if you upgrade your HP laptop's WiFi card, made sure it was installed properly and it still wasn't getting detected by the laptop, try doing a CMOS/BIOS reset using the key combination.
