I am trying to connect to WIFI and cant see my WIFI Button on my HP Pavilion Entertainment PC

OK. Your PC is the "HP Pavilion dv6t-1300 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC"

 

If you look on page 2-3 of service manual you can see the wifi button (number 5) It is where the Wifi led is on the right of the volume scroll "button" above the keyboard.

Hi david,

The icon had amber colour but could display available WIFI connections,and was trying to get a functional key to identify the colour of WIFI Icon when connect.

 

I got a solution by going to BIOS and Loaded Default settings.
