Hello,

This is the 2nd time that the WIFI option has disappeared on me. Last time, I updated every driver, windows system, command prompt, network adapter reset, etc.. This time, I have done the same thing, nothing and it is not under device manager either. IT IS NO WHERE!!!  I have been to all of the board messages, it has to be something else. Brand new laptop, barely 60 days old.

PLEASE HELP. It should not be this hard.

Hi@Misfit4Lyfe,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Wi-Fi issues with the HP Pavilion Laptop PC. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

I have a few recommendations

  • Try doing System Restore on the PC if it had worked few days ago.
  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • You can do Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if it works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
