Hi @vanraj6466
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thank you for reaching out. I understand that your HP laptop is running Windows 11 and is unable to connect to your phone's hotspot. I appreciate you sharing the details.
To better understand the situation and help you more effectively, could you please share:
- The full HP laptop model or product name.
- Whether the Wi-Fi network from your phone's hotspot appears in the list of available networks.
- If any error message is displayed when attempting to connect.
- Whether the laptop can connect to other Wi-Fi networks, such as a home or office network.
- Whether other devices can connect successfully to the same phone hotspot.
- Have there been any recent Windows updates or driver updates before the issue started?
In the meantime, you may try these basic checks:
- Turn the phone hotspot off and back on.
- Restart both the HP laptop and the phone.
- Ensure Airplane Mode is turned off on the laptop.
- Confirm Wi-Fi is enabled:
- Press Windows + A and verify that Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Move the laptop closer to the phone hotspot and try connecting again.
- On the phone, verify that:
- Mobile data is working.
- Hotspot is active.
- The maximum connected device limit has not been reached.
- If the hotspot name appears on the laptop, select Forget Network and then try connecting again.
Once you share the HP model and the results of the above checks, we'll be in a better position to determine whether the issue is related to the hotspot settings, Windows network configuration, or the wireless adapter on the HP device.
We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!
Regards,
Hawks_Eye
