Hello everyone:

I have the issue with wifi driver adapter. Randomly it show no network to connect, not even scan, sometimes it just dissappear. Made a full windows reinstall with the original iso with full update, update BIOS to the last version, manually reinstall the updated driver from hp oficial page and still persue. The problem is the same everytime:

Wifi show 0 network, i restart the driver to default from device manager and restart windows and it work. After 1 or 2 day same issue. Sometimes doesnt even show the driver from device manager and hp support assistant.

Some data: HP 240 G3

Ralink 3290 (default)

Driver: SP72517

Windows 10 22h2

Hi:

The Ralink wifi card doesn't work right on the latest builds of W10.

There is no fix. I'm surprised the card is even working at all.

Your choices would be to use a USB Wi-Fi adapter or replace the Ralink card with one of the other cards listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual.

The best option from the list would be this one:

Realtek RT8723BE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Adapter   HP part # 753077-005
