HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew0000 (549V6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Absent for a couple of days, got back today and suddenly cannot turn on WIFI as the connection options/buttons/icons have disappeared. Not remotely technical but looks like a network adapter (Express VPN TAP) has gone awol and won’t start properly. Perhaps this is causing the problem? Was Windows trying to do an update while I was absent and failed?

Have turned laptop on and off about six times, have restarted router (every other device connects to it perfectly).

All assistance welcome.

Be aware that when a customer says the option to connect to the internet has vanished, it means they cannot connect to the internet. So downloading drivers from the internet is impossible. Fortunately turning the laptop off overnight seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks for the reply. Cheers
