WIFI driver for Windows 8.1 (64-bit).

I'm unable to find the wifi driver for the notebook : 15q-bu005TU for windows 8.1 (64-bit). I have downloaded from the HP site but it does not work. is there any thing else that I have to do ?.

Hi:

Your notebook is only supported by HP for W10.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W8.1 64 bit drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G3 business-class notebook which has the same processor and chipset.  You would only use the Intel graphics driver, not the AMD one.

Do not use the Audio, BIOS and firmware files from that model on yours.

I believe your model uses the Realtek wifi and bluetooth driver.

Audio:  Accept the agreement.  Download and install the 2nd driver on the list and restart the PC.

If the wifi driver doesn't work from the 450 G3, try the one directly from Realtek...
