Hi I opened my laptop today to realize there's no WIFI option

So I went through the internet on my phone and found a "possible" solution.

I went to device manager and deleted the hidden WIFI adapters, then restarted my computer.

Of course this did not work so i went back to check but now the WIFI adapters are fully gone its not even hidden  .                                                                                                               I'm currently using ethernet and am looking for how and where to download the adapters.
here is a  screenshot of the devices under network adapters and the WIFI button missing.

Hi @Shinn2,

May be this might help. I've also used HP Support site to download the Driver for my laptop.

Go to: https://www.hp.com/us-en/home.html

click on "Support", in the Support page click on "Download Drivers"

It can detect your laptop or alternatively page further down to:

Select "laptop" and follow the prompt. You might want to first determine your laptop model and OS version first before continuing.

Hope that helps, good luck.

Hi @Shinn2,

I had quite similar problems with my Wifi Adapter working intermittently. Check out my post @jhng168 on the issue.

@Mans an Expert on this Community Support gave me a link to the HP Driver and also to the Intel Drivers, check it out you might get some useful tips there.

Best of Luck,

@jhng168

Hi I checked out the solution but am unsure if that wifi driver is the same as mine, what should I do?
