Hi,
I have an Elitebook 840 G8 with SIM card slot.
On my previous Elitebook 840 G4 I had a WWAN module (lt4120 snapdragon X5 lte) which I removed and added in my current laptop. (So there is a wwan slot and antenna cables are present)
I don't see the WWAN option in BIOS or in device manager to activate.
Do I need another mobile broadband module or how can I activate the mobile broadband service?
Kind regards,

WWAN is an option
- Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced (Cat 9) part # L70670-001
- Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 LTE + 5G part # L83053-001
You can buy from HP https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=L70670-001
or https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=L83053-001
You may also need antenna for it.
Page 38 of the following manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06980363.pdf helps you how to install it.
Regards.
