Welcome to our HP Community forum!
If your HP DeskJet 2700 series printer is in sleep mode and not responding, try the following:
1. Press the Power Button:
- Lightly press the Power button to wake it up.
2. Send a Print Job:
- Sometimes, sending a document to print will wake up the printer automatically.
3. Check Connection:
- If using Wi-Fi, ensure your printer is still connected to the network.
- If using USB, unplug and reconnect the cable.
4. Disable Deep Sleep Mode (If Needed):
- Open HP Smart or Printer Properties on your PC.
- Look for Energy Settings or Auto-Off and adjust them to prevent deep sleep.
If your printer remains unresponsive, try power cycling:
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug it from power for 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance!
Kind Regards,
