Frustrated and need help please! My wifi f12 key lights up and wireless network option goes away for the second time in the past 6 months. My kid was using it but I dont think he could have destroyed or uninstalled something! However pressing the buttom does not do anything light stays on.

Hi,
Yes f12 is the key.
For the issue you're facing try reinstalling WLAN drivers from your HP support page: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
You should get driver for the wireless device installed in your laptop.

Visruth
