Product: HP Envy
Operating System: Linux
I know that Linux (more specifically Debian Stretch) isn't supported on my computer, but I was hoping to get some help.
Anyway, I have a Broadcom Wifi adapter (Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi M.2 Adapter) in my computer. Whenever I boot to Debian it doesn’t allow me to connect to a network, which I assume is a problem with the drivers (I have non-open source software enabled). Is there any way I can download the drivers for this that way I can get it working?

I assume you checked the wiki and followed the instructions?

People are using their precious remaining lifetime to try and help, so it is common courtesy to come back and tell what the solution eventually was even if you found it elsewhere. It is for the benefit of everyone.
