I'm getting lots of errors (Cannot connect to this Network) with the Ralink RT3290 Card, and I think that it may have failed, so I'd like to replace it with the same card (SPS: 690020-001) that originally came with the PC, or a Dual Band Card that would be compatible with the HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC (E4Q53EA#UUZ). The Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Version is: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version: 18362.900.
Please advise.

Hi:
The Ralink RT3290 is not compatible with the newer releases of W10.
I recommend that you upgrade to this dual band AC card.
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
You should be able to find the card on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
Before installing the replacement card, uninstall the Ralink wifi and bluetooth adapters in the device manager and check the uninstall driver box.
If there is Ralink bluetooth software listed in the windows control panel, uninstall that too.
Then shut down, unplug the PC from A/C power, remove the battery and install the replacement Intel card.
