OMEN Laptop - 15-en0003ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I've narrowed this down to (as far as I can see) only happening when I connect to my Omen 15 laptop from another computer using Google Remote Desktop and, on my Omen, I open up Wetransfer and try to send files. Immediately after starting to send them, it will stop, freeze (on the Remote Desktop screen, because on the computer itself it doesn't freeze), and after several seconds the Remote Desktop connection will fail. If I physically go to my Omen, I find that the Wetransfer has stopped and failed, and that my Ethernet connections now says "Unidentified network" and "No internet". (BTW, it's still always connected to my WiFi network, it says "Connected, secured", but if the Ethernet connection fails, for some reason it doesn't default to the connected WiFi and simple acts as if there's no internet connection on the computer...) I run the Network Troubleshooter on the Ethernet connection and the verdict is: "Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration. So the only solution I've found is to reset my router...

This may not seem like it's the end of the world, but as I often work with heavy audiovisual material I need to leave rendering and, after some hours, access my computer (either physically or remotely) in order to send the material to the client, then this really affects my workflow.

This doesn't occur when connected to WiFi. So for the time being, I've disconnected my Ethernet cable and have had to revert back to using only WiFi. This keeps this issue from happening, but the reason I installed Cat 6 Ethernet cables in my home was in order to have the fastest possible internet speed (because of my work I described). Having my machine connected to WiFi seriously hampers the sending and receiving, as well as the multi-machine rendering process. So I really need to solve this with the Ethernet; I can't just continue relying on WiFi due to some (imo) absurd bug--that I don't have with other computers, btw, which is why I'm posting in the HP forum.
