If your Victus by HP 15-fb3000 laptop is dropping Wi-Fi randomly, it’s usually caused by either outdated drivers, power-saving settings, or router compatibility issues. Let’s try a few steps to fix this:

Update Wireless Driver

Go to HP Support → enter your laptop’s model → download and install the latest Realtek/Intel wireless LAN driver for Windows 10.

Update BIOS

From the same HP Support page, check if there’s a BIOS update. Outdated BIOS can cause connectivity drops.

Change Power Settings

Press Win + X → Device Manager → expand Network Adapters → right-click your Wi-Fi adapter → Properties → Power Management tab → uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”

Also, in Control Panel > Power Options, set Wireless Adapter to Maximum Performance

.

Forget & Reconnect Wi-Fi

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi, forget the network, restart the laptop, then reconnect.

Router Check

Restart your router.

If possible, test on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands to see if one is more stable.

HP Network Check

Open HP Support Assistant → run Network and Internet Troubleshooter.

I hope this helps.
