HP ZBook 17 G2 Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

Could someone tell me compatible wi-fi cards to replace the frustrating Intel AC-7260 Wi-Fi card that came with the HP ZBook 17 G2 Mobile Workstation - model K4K46UT#ABA.

Thanks.

This is 2 weeks old, you may have moved on.

Although any half/mini PCIe Wifi Card with 2 antennae (with proper driver) should work, but pre-Windows 8 PC BIOS may have wifi whitelist that prevents you from using one. BIOS update to later version may help.

I have no problem with this card for my older laptop. Now running Windows 10. Did you try Intel Driver & Support Assistant for latest driver?

I'm still running Windows 7, so I'm worried about a whitelisted card.  I updated the driver, and tried ajusted many settings like the transmit level outpout, but no luck.
