HP Victus 15 fb3000 (supposedly)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all,
I got my HP Victus 15 laptop in October of last year. The performance is excellent and all, but there has been an issue going on for nearly its entire lifespan. When playing games or just doing any activity in general that requires decently high amounts of bandwidth, if using Wi-Fi, the ping seems to randomly freeze up at random intervals. I managed to somewhat fix this by connecting my tablet to my PC and using USB Tethering for Wi-Fi, which works but delays my ping by around 40ms..

It seems under any sort of heavy load with Wi-Fi, the ping will fail to connect at a consistent rate. I have tried both upgrading and downgrading my network drivers, fiddling with the driver settings (Roaming Aggressiveness, preferring 5G and others) but nothing works. It seems like after a restart, it will perform normally, but after a while it will begin to stutter and freeze up on itself.

Also, I have tested being extremely close to my router too, but that doesn't change much.

No, this doesn't seem to affect Bluetooth
